The spring module "Doing Business in Russia" for master students was ended

The exchange semester for foreign master students, who came for their exchange semester to  GSOM SPbU,  traditionally begins  with the course "Doing Business in Russia".  This course regularly consists of lectures from GSOM SPbU teachers and representatives of Russian business, and students immerse into specifics of Russian business and then develop and economically justify the business ideas of ​​their project.

 

 

Within the framework of the course a number of guest lectures were given by Kirill Shpara, Head of the Business Analysis, Strategic Planning and Assortment Division of Baltika; Igor Rozhdestvensky, director of the business incubator; Andrey Bitzi, director of the Schneider Group; Evgeniy Pochkayev, Vice President of Information Technologies and Operational Development of BIOCAD. In addition, students visited the offices of Hyundai and Slotex.

 

Last week, presentation-defense of business plans took place. Students presented their ideas to business practitioners, graduates of GSOM SPbU, Nikolay Dvoryankin, CEO of Autolink and Petr Lobanov, manager of the Bureau Bar, and to representatives of Amrest company.

 

The projects covered the areas that are perspective according to the students' opinion: the development of multilateral online platforms, the organization of food delivery and cosmetic products, the start of fast food restaurant.
