Scientific school for young scientists "Innovations in knowledge management practices" was held at GSOM SPbU

On June 10-11, a scientific school for young scientists "Innovations in knowledge management practices" was held at the Institute "Graduate School of Management" SPbU with the support of the Russian Science Foundation.

 

 

Head of the Department of Information Technologies in Management of GSOM SPbU, Head of the project "Innovations in knowledge management of the enterprise: typology, methodology and recommendations (INNOVARR)", Tatiana A. Gavrilova welcomed to young scientists with a greeting words.

  46 young specialists took part in the work of the scientific school, including 40 Russian scientists and 6 scientists from Belarus, Germany, Iran and Italy. In total, representatives of 17 higher educational institutions of Russia and the world gathered together. 


The work of the scientific school was conducted with the participation of an international team of lecturers from leading universities in Italy, France and Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm).

 

 

The first day of the school's work included a series of lectures with practical lessons led by leading foreign lecturers in the field of knowledge management. The presentation of Professor Ilias Karagiannis (George Washington University, USA) described the work in the field of innovation of business models, Professor James Guthrie (Macquarie University, Australia) presented the paper devoted to the past, present and future research in the field of intellectual capital, and professor Giovanni Schiuma (University of Basilicata, Italy) talked about the role of arts in the field of knowledge management. The day ended with a panel discussion with the participation of Russian business practitioners.

 

At the second day of the scientific school Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technologies in the management of GSOM SPbU Dmitry Kudryavtsev presented the report devoted to knowledge management tools. 

 

The issues of the strategic relevance of knowledge in the organization for creating a competitive advantage were discussed in the lecture of George Tovstiga, professor at the EDHEC Business School (France). The speech of Maria A. Molodchik, Associate Professor of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (Perm) was devoted to the use of quantitative methods in research on knowledge management and knowledge management issues.

 

The second day of the scientific school's work ended with a special session, in which participants presented scientific projects in the field of knowledge management and received feedback from leading foreign and Russian lecturers.
