||Andrew Spicer, associate professor of international business in the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina
Prof. Spicer’s research and teaching focuses on the intersection of business and society in a global economy. He presently serves as faculty director of the International MBA Program at the Moore School, and teaches courses on globalization, comparative institutional systems and sustainable development. His research has examined privatization policies and outcomes in post-communist countries; the effects of national context and identity on managers' ethical evaluations and behaviors; the spread of corrupt business practices across regions and companies; and the role of institutional context in shaping business models around the world. He has published articles on these topics in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Industrial and Corporate Change, and Strategic Organizations.
