Elena Zavyalova, Professor, Head of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources Management Department, Graduate School of Management, Saint-Petersburg State University

Professor Zavyalova's interests include issues related to human resource management and development, and innovation in the work place. Her work in these areas was conducted primarily in the context of Russia and other BRICs. Professor Zavyalova published over 90 articles, reports and books, and recently contributed a book chapter to the Handbook of HRM in Emerging Markets (ed. F.Horwitz, P.Budhwar, 2015). She is a member of the editorial boards of International Journal of HRM and Human Resource Development International. She is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development and of the International Association for Research in Economic Psychology. Professor Zavyalova has consulted with several Russian and international companies, including Shell, Lenenergo, Admiralteyskie shipyards, Watercanal, and other. Pr. Zavyalova is the recipient of the prestigious Honorable Worker of Higher Professional Education of Russia.
