Graduate School of Business, Koç University (Turkey)

Koç University is a private, nonprofit institution, founded in 1993 and located in Istanbul. The University is supported by the financial resources of the Vehbi Koç Foundation, set up by Vehbi Koç, a leading Turkish businessman, and is committed to the pursuit of excellence in both teaching and research.

 

Koç University had a total of 3400 students in 2007 academic year. The University has a dormitory capacity of 1350. International students are given priority for dorm space. Most of the students who are placed in Koç University come from the top 1% of the Turkish University Entrance Exam.

Koç University graduates are continuing their studies at renowned institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, University of California-Berkeley, Chicago University in the USA, London School of Economics, Berlin University, Tillburg University, Bocconi University in Europe, and Boğaziçi University, Bilkent University, and Sabancı University in Turkey.
