Creating up-to-date managerial knowledge and its dissemination in the professional environment is an important part of the mission of Graduate School of Management as a Russian world class business school. Publishing activity of GSOM started right after its opening in 1993 as a new faculty in the St-Petersburg University. While the first projects of the faculty were translations of world-known classics in management theory (Lessons of Business Organization, edited by A. A. Demin, and V.S. Katkalo), by mid-1990 we started to publish first monographs and textbooks of faculty academics. In 2000 the Publishing House of Graduate School of Management was founded, specializing in scientific and educational literature.

Our books are the advanced literature for business education, that has been tested in classes for long time and were highly evaluated by our students including top managers of large and SME companies. These books are well known the in professional scientific, educational and business environment, in Russia as well as beyond its borders.
In 2008 three books written by professors of Graduate School of Management won the 4th Russian Competition of Academic Books for Universities in the nomination The Best Textbooks on Management and Marketing.
In 2009 our Publishing House and the author of the textbook Brand Management Sergey Starov were awarded with the diploma of the Russian National Competition in the nomination The Textbook of the 21st Century as well as the diploma of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.
In 2010 the prize for The Best Academic Book in Management and Marketing was also awarded to GSOM books: Marketing: Selected Cases from GSOM Collection (ed. by I.V. Gladkikh).and Managing Organizational Development: Selected Cases from GSOM Collection (ed. by I.V. Gladkikh).
We are proud of our authors. Many of them are well known for their achievements in teaching and research as well as developing business cases being chosen by the best business schools in the world. Our authors serve as directors of educational and consulting projects at leading universities as well as large Russian and foreign companies.
Books published by the Publishing House of Graduate School of Management are addressed to students of undergraduate and postgraduate programs of business schools as well as anyone interested in contemporary approaches to building a successful business.
