The objective of the Information Management concentration is to prepare qualified managers to be capable of providing efficient application of modern information technologies in management activity with the purpose of creating a competitive advantage for a company. The importance is given not to the acquirement of new technology concepts but to system analytical skills that work with data and knowledge.

Studying Information Management allows students to prepare as a business analyst who states tasks for information technology service and understands specific of work with all types of business information – from traditional models of business processes to automatic network document management.

Graduates acquire the knowhow of technologies and applications of electronic business, all modern instruments of visual structuring of information, including mind-maps, concept maps and road maps, network technologies and software products which are being used in such areas as modeling business processes, data management, information security, project management. They have work skills for corporate informational systems – leaders of the ERP –systems market, for example, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, 1C and show discrimination in features of internet-economics.
