Goals and objectives:

The goal of the discipline is to familiarize students with the contemporary concept of supply chain management, its role and place in the strategic management of the company as well as innovation practices of supply chain management. Besides that, the students will have to study and analyze cases of supply chain management in different market and competitive contexts, to study the tools of supply chain and operations management (in particular – inventory management, transport management, facility locations, etc.).
After the course the students should be able to:
• use methods of making strategic, tactical and operational managerial decisions providing effective activity of logistics services and supply chains in companies;

• use various methods of interfunctional logistic coordination in international supply chains.
