Course Description:

The core objective of the course is to provide the students with the project management bases. The studying of the project management knowledge areas and processes allow them to make understanding of the course essential. The learning of the existing practices, tools and methods and the usage them for the training projects allow the students to acquire the basic skills for goals definition, project tasks and schedule planning. As a result, the students will get the understanding of a system approach to the project management. The students gain knowledge of the base practices, tools and methods in the project management, skills in the using of the software for the planning and tracking during the training project development.

Course Organization:

Lectures, seminars, including lab exercises, project development, group work, exercises, tests.
The practical sessions on MS Project 2010 tool will be held in computer class. The maximum number of students per group depends on an available computer class.
