On October 6–7, the Global Dialogue of the Caux Round Table for Moral Capitalism (CRT) was conducted within the GSOM Emerging Markets Conference 2018 as a scientific and practical seminar.

On October 9th, Yury E. Blagov, Anastasia A. Petrova-Savchenko, and Yulia N. Aray, represented PwC Center for CSR at the annual ASPPE Conference “Evaluating Social Programs in Russia: Application Practice and Development Drivers”. They were invited by the Association of Specialists in Program and Policy Evaluation (ASPPE) to organize and conduct a session “Social Impact Assessment in the Field of Social Entrepreneurship”.
On September 24–27 Yury E. Blagov, Director of the PwC Center for Corporate Social Responsibility, took part in the 22nd “Sakhalin Oil and Gas 2018” conference as an invited speaker at the Session “CSR and sustainability culture: the impact of the oil & gas sector on regional development”.
On September 14th, co-founder and the Chief Product Officer in Mechanica AI Elena Samuylova gave a lecture about artificial intelligence (AI) in business. Elena told students about the differences between machine learning and AI, new market of solutions based on machine learning and its benefits for business.
On August 8-10, 2018, Andrew E. Ivanov (Associate Professor, Department of Public Administration, Chief Researcher of GSOM SPbU Center for PPP Studies) took part in the IPPC8 international conference in Tanzania.
On September 22nd, Graduate School of Management (GSOM SPbU) community met at “Mikhailovskaya Dacha” campus. Businessmen, representatives of GSOM SPbU partner companies, alumni, students and faculty gathered together to discuss the future of business education.
The exchange program “Doing Business in Russia” is completed at Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), along with Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB).
