From 18 to 19 June, the Emerging markets inspiration conference (EMIC) was held at Stockholm Business School. It was attended by Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Personnel Management DepartmentMarina Latukha and Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management Andrei Panibratov. He received Distinguished Scholar Award.
This year the main topic of the conference was Emerging markets multinationals in the age of anti-globalization. On the first day, Andrei Panibratov presented his research under the title “Foreign divestments of EMNEs: Winners and losers in the war of political resources”.
Marina Latukha made a presentation during the second day an told about talent management agenda for countries with emerging economy.
Moreover EMIC’19 participants discussed climate change, the role of the state in international business research, the internationalization of state-owned transnational corporations, Chinese investment in Swedish industry, global supply chains and other topics. This year the conference was held for the fourth time.
