On March 12, an online session with GSOM SPbU alumni was held. It was dedicated to updating the strategy of GSOM until 2025. The session was attended by alumni from Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Spain, France, the UAE and the Netherlands. All of them have at least 1 year work experience abroad.

 

 

Alumni were asked about the basic knowledge and skills acquired at GSOM that helped them succeed in the international labor market. Among them, participants noted critical thinking, teamwork, presentation and self-presentation skills, as well as the ability to take responsibility for team task

Alumni offered their expertise to support students during the exchange semester and in the search of work abroad. They can help them to prepare for interviews and adapt in new country.

Expat alumni also expressed their willingness to help increase the number of courses and lectures of foreign professors and practitioners by attracting experts to provide lectures at GSOM in an online format. This initiative will help students expand their knowledge horizons and understand the cross-cultural component of the business.

The strategy update team will take these and other initiatives into account when building an updated vision of the School. The Project Office team thanks the alumni who do not lose touch with the School and are ready to influence its future development.
