The Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) and the BUSINESS SCHOOL XXI CENTURY-CONSULT presented a new educational project in Minsk. The meeting was attended by Dmitry Yaroshevich, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, and Stanislav Makarenko, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus.
A unique two-year MBA program for the business community of Belarus, aimed at owners and top managers of companies from various economic sectors, will start in April 2022. The selection of those who wish to undergo training has already begun.
The Executive MBA educational program "Strategic Management: Global Agenda" is a reunion of many years of experience in business education in Russia, Belarus, and three outstanding business schools in Europe and Asia. The training will help managers gain and systematize knowledge and look at a business from a global perspective.
Konstantin Krotov, Executive Director, Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University, tells more about this: "One of the key trends in business education today is academic partnerships. Modern education is impossible without them. That is why GSOM SPbU, being an international business school, actively develops partnerships with the leaders of its markets. We believe in our joint educational project with Belarusian partners — the XXI CENTURY BUSINESS SCHOOL-CONSULT. The Executive MBA program "Strategic Management: Global Agenda" has been developed taking into account the current student's needs — for practice-orientation and knowledge related to modern challenges, such as, for example, digitalization."
Students of the program will receive tools for business transformation and scaling, entering new markets, introducing innovations, and personal reboot. They will have to master several fundamental disciplines and practice solving practical problems during business games and business simulations. Training in the community of successful managers will allow you to find like-minded people and create new business connections.
Irina Lyskovich, Director of Business School XXI CENTURY-CONSULT, shared details of how preparations for the launch of the project took place: "Working on the preparation of the Executive MBA program in cooperation with the business school, which is among the world leaders in business education, was a serious challenge and gave us unique competencies and invaluable experience. The development of the program continued for several years. The result of our joint efforts is the EMBA program focusing on developing business management skills in the global market, which is so relevant in the digital world. And, of course, this is an essential prospect for program alumni — to be part of the business community of business leaders with innovative entrepreneurial thinking, ambitious goals, and the ability to create sustainable and responsible business relationships."
Classes will be held once a month for 3-4 days at the XXI CENTURY-CONSULT campus in Minsk; students will study at GSOM SPbU in St. Petersburg for several weeks; the international module will take place at the world-famous SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan.
The program has professors from 5 leading international business schools: GSOM SPbU (Russia), BS XXI CENTURY-CONSULT (Belarus), SDA Bocconi School of Management (Italy), EADA Business School (Spain), and AlmaU Graduate School of Business (Kazakhstan).
Alumni who successfully defended the final certification projects will receive a diploma from St. Petersburg University on completion of the Executive MBA professional retraining program. They will have the qualification "Master of Business Administration."
Business school XXI CENTURY-CONSULT is an academic partner of the program and one of the best business schools in Belarus. It is part of the global network of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which unites 900 best universities and business schools from more than 20 thousand operating in the world.
