Alexandra Shaban is a first-year student of GSOM SPbU studying Management. She graduated from a high school in Kaliningrad with honors and was dreaming about getting into a business school. Alexandra passed the Unified State Exam with 295 points out of 300 possible in total and got into both MGIMO and GSOM SPBU, in the end she chose GSOM in Saint Petersburg, where she is a recipient of a special GSOM scholarship. She has shared some of her first insights in this interview.
Jerome Lambert is a first-year Master student at GSOM SPbU, originally from Belgium. He has chosen the Master in Business Analytics and Big Data (MiBA) program. Two years ago he came to St Petersburg and GSOM as part of the Erasmus program. He liked the city and the Business school and decided to continue his education in Russia. We have asked Benjamin Tetteh, student of GSOM Master in Management program, to discuss with Jerome his education at GSOM, his choice of the program and why he has decided to study in Russia again and has chosen the MiBA program.
Daria Zarubina, Director of Global Strategy and Leadership at PwC Russia, is an alumna of the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) and the MBA program of the University of Cambridge. She works in the London office of PwC and has experience working in the Middle East and Russia. Her team is developing a strategic direction for the network, which operates in 155 countries worldwide. She is implementing a program designed for the evolving of senior managers, as well, based on a global strategy.
Yulia Bondarchuk is an alumna of 2008 of the Bachelor in Management program in the course "HR Management", the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU). During and after her studies, she managed to work in both HR and marketing. In 2014, she opened an Edoque Store. Today, the company has 100 thousand customers, 75 employees and a large selection of environmentally friendly products. In an interview, Yulia talked about studying at the Business school, the specifics of running her own business, and plans for the future.
