Russian financier and businessman, the founder, largest shareholder and founder of the group Otkritie Holding.

He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Radio engineering, electronics and automation. V. Belyaev received theoretical basis in the field of financial administration at the Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, defended in 1995 diploma in "Banking and insurance". From 1993 to 1996 he is a Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSCB "Moscow petrochemical Bank". In 1995 Vadim Belyaev founded the Otkritie Holding as one of the retail brokers operating on the Moscow exchange. From 1995 to the present day Vadim Belyaev is in charge of the strategic and operational management of the group. Vadim Belyaev has a degree in international capital markets, issued by the chartered Institute of securities and investment (UK). He is known for its projects in the cultural and social spheres and was recognized twice as "Investment banker of the year". During the last five years V. Belyaev is included in "a Thousand best Russian managers" according to the newspaper "Kommersant".

    In 2016 Vadim S. Belyaev was invited to join the Advisory Board for the Graduate School of management St. Petersburg University.
