Description: The IMF publishes a range of time series data on IMF lending, exchange rates and other economic and financial indicators. Manuals, guides, and other material on statistical practices at the IMF, in member countries, and of the statistical community at large are also available.   • Country Reports.  Rich source of information by country: see especially the statistical appendices.
  • Economic Issues.  Non technical papers written on economic research being conducted by the IMF.
  • Finance and Development.  Quarterly magazine of the IMF with articles and book reviews on topics in international economics, finance, and economic development.
  • World Economic Outlook Databases   Present IMF staff economists' analyses of global economic developments during the near and medium term.
  • Global Financial Stability Report.  Biennial report focusing on international capital markets and other market issues: investment banks, securities firms, hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds, etc. Preceded by International Capital Markets.
  • IMF Research Bulletin.  Key components of research done at the IMF and with a listing of research documents and activities.
  • IMF Staff Papers.  Economic journal issued three times a year focusing on theoretical and empirical analysis of macroeconomic issues.
  • IMF Survey.  Topical newsletter on IMF activities in the context of world economic and financial developments.
  • IMF Working Papers.  Large series of papers dating from 1997 on a wide range of topics: balance of payments, monetary and fiscal issues, global liquidity etc.
  • Policy Discussion Papers.  IMF non-technical papers in the areas of policy design: designed for persons outside the IMF interested in policy issues.
