The Contemporary Library Business Model Competition
The Contemporary Library Business Model Competition was carried out by Graduate School of Management Library. It was planned as a part of the European Business Schools Librarians' Group Conference 2014, held by the Graduate School of Management SPbU on June 16-19, 2014.
The Business Model Competition was focused on the entrepreneurial process of creating an innovative idea of the new library product, service or space. The objective of the competition was to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship, and to encourage entrepreneurial ventures/activities applicable to library practice among the students. The selection process was conducted by GSOM Professors and supported by European libraries’ top-managers.

Business model “B-book: Business Model for Contemporary Library”
The Award ceremony was held in the course of the European Business Schools Librarians' Group (EBSLG) Conference 2014 by GSOM professor Galina Shirokova and EBSLG president Thorsten Meyer who welcomed all the participants and congratulated the winners of the Competition.
