The Richard Ivey School of Business, the University of Western Ontario is one of Canada's premier business schools. Located in London, Ontario, it was first established as the Department of Commercial Economics in 1922. By 1950 it had become a separate faculty at the university, and in 1995 was renamed the Richard Ivey School of Business in honor of businessman and philanthropist Richard G. Ivey.
The Richard Ivey School of Business offers degree programs at the undergraduate level (Honours Business Administration) and post graduate levels (12-Month MBA, Executive MBA and PhD) as well as non-degree open enrollment and customized corporate programs through its Executive Development facilities in London, Toronto and Hong Kong. Ivey is affiliated with The University of Western Ontario with its main campus located in London, Ontario, midway between Toronto and Detroit.
The business school also has three executive teaching facilities: Ivey's ING Leadership Centre located in the Exchange Tower in Toronto’s financial district, at the Spencer Leadership Centre in London and the Cheng Yu Tung Management Institute in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where it offers both Executive MBA and Executive Development programs.

All Richard Ivey School of Business degree and executive development programs are accredited by the European Federation of Management Development (EFMD) through EQUIS – the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. The school is a member of PIM (Partnership in International Management) and CEMS (Global Alliance in Management Education) international associations.
