The session was devoted to the best practices and challenges that universities and corporations face when organizing training in blended format.
Alexander Baizarov spoke about the development and implementation of hybrid education at GSOM SPbU. A cross-functional team of specialists from different fields and work on the design thinking methodology allowed GSOM SPbU to create a comprehensive solution and implement the project in a short time.
The speaker noted the following key principles of hybrid education at GSOM SPbU: “Firstly, this is a new teaching format - not just a combination of online and offline. Secondly, in the development of such a solution, an interdisciplinary approach and a focus on methodology, tech and UX turned out to be critically important. The implementation phase is also critically important - train the trainers, test and improve the solution. Finally, the hybrid format will be with us for a long time. It creates added value for everyone: for teachers - online tools in an offline classroom, for students - access to learning regardless of location, for universities - new products with geographic expansion. And it allows us to bring the campus experience back to our lives. "
Representatives of the University of Helsinki, IE University in Madrid, Skolkovo Business School and Gartner also spoke at the event.
