An alumna of the joint Executive MBA program "Strategic Management and Leadership" of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) and the Graduate School of Business of Almaty Management University (GSB AlmaU) Natalia Mitrofanova established the School of Entrepreneurship for Children "Founder". The program provides for three age levels: 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14 years, each of which is designed for three years. The training is aimed at developing leadership and business skills. Core subjects are economics, entrepreneurship, leadership, soft skills, ethics, management, rhetoric and finance.
“Why am I doing this? I am a mother. And, like all mothers, I dream of giving my child an education that would help him become a successful and happy person in the future. I recently completed my Executive MBA. I thank the Graduate School of Business of Almaty Management University and the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University for invaluable experience. It seems to me that the earlier a child, as a schoolchild, begins to get acquainted with such topics as the thinking of a successful person, communication skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, awareness, strategy, the better his prospects for the future. I dream of creating an environment of like-minded people for children, helping, supporting each other and implementing joint projects, like my classmates and once colleagues who became good friends.”
