In 2021, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) held a series of educational programs for the top management and personnel reserve of LANIT.
The LANIT Leadership Academy educational track, prepared by GSOM SPbU, successfully passed 34 listeners - directors, deputy directors, heads of departments and departments of the company. The program consisted of six modules of a blended learning format (offline / online), organized in St. Petersburg and Moscow, and covered practical disciplines such as finance, innovation marketing, investment management, digital leadership, personal effectiveness, and customer experience management.
Group project work was carried out during the entire period of study together with the Academic Director of the program Olga Verkhovskaya and leading GSOM experts. At the final defense in Moscow, 8 business projects were presented, aimed at solving urgent strategic tasks of the LANIT group of companies. The final certification commission was headed by the President of LANIT Philip Gens.
The listeners of the track "Management Essentials: Practical School of Management" were representatives of the LANIT personnel reserve. The program was fully implemented in an online format, focused on systematizing management experience, as well as obtaining new team management tools. At the same time, an important and integral element was project work as part of which the students in teams solved cases from their practice on the topics of the course.
All listeners who successfully completed the training programs were awarded certificates of professional development.
Olga Verkhovskaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management, Academic Director of the LANIT Leadership Academy program: “Learning on the program is a process of mutual enrichment of students and professors with knowledge. During classes and work on projects, the students not only studied the tools for solving management problems, but also applied them in practice in their work. It was very interesting to observe how the projects of the listeners were transformed from the inception of an idea to the formation of specific recommendations using the new knowledge gained. The professors emphasized the involvement of students in the learning process, creativity in finding solutions and a sincere desire to contribute to improving the activities of the group of companies. "
Irina Barmina, Deputy HR Director of LANIT: “Training of the company's management is our priority. Due to the fact that we work in a fast-growing market, we need to raise employees on time and prepare a talent pool for new business tasks and challenges. A hybrid training format, in our opinion, is an undoubted advantage. The participants studied most of the lectures and seminars remotely, which did not greatly affect the current business tasks. Participation in face-to-face classes helped to strengthen cross-communication, unite teams, and also facilitated the exchange of experiences and practices. "
