The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) took first place in the national ranking of Russian business schools on the mba.su portal, sharing leadership with the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, the Institute of Business and Business Administration of the RANEPA, the St. Petersburg International Institute of Management IMISP and the Graduate School of Business of Moscow State University, as well as the Center for International Programs MBA FESN RANEPA.
The Rankings are based on annual MBA and Executive MBA alumni surveys. The 2022 study involved 1,400 people who received MBA and EMBA diplomas in 44 business schools in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and other Russian cities. Of these, business owners accounted for 17%, top managers - 32%, middle managers - 36%, line managers and specialists - 14%, others - 1%. Together, these participants represented at least 96 percent of the current national market for MBA and EMBA programs in Russia, which, according to analysts, gives a complete picture of the current state of the market.
Respondents assessed the education on four indicators: income growth, career growth, business connections, and personal and professional development. In the opinion of GSOM SPbU alumni, training had a particularly positive impact on their professional development - this indicator turned out to be one of the best among business schools. More information about the study can be found on the portal mba.su.
