Head of the Center for PPP Studies Svetlana V. Maslova took part in the opening ceremony of the new terminal at Pulkovo Airoport

 

On February 3, 2015 the opening ceremony of the airport terminal “Pulkovo 1” after the complex reconstruction of the building. The event was attended by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Yu. Sokolov, Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy S. Poltavchenko, Deputy Minister of Transport Nikolay A. Asaul, Vice-President of JSC “VTB Bank”, Chairman of the Executive Board of Fraport AG Stefan Schulte, President of Copelouzos Group and Director of Horizon Air Investment Dimitris Copelouzos, Director of “Northern Capital Gateway” Ltd.  Sergey V. Edmin.

 

“Reconstruction and development of Pulkovo Airport is the first project of this scale in the Russian aviation industry, which has been implemented through public-private partnership mechanism, without any use of budget funds”, said Maxim Yu. Sokolov, “The presence of ultramodern, large and convenient infrastructural facility in the region increases the attractiveness of St. Petersburg not only as a tourist and business destination, but also as one of the most important transport hubs in the country”.

 

Head of the Center for PPP Studies Svetlana V. Maslova was among the guests of the opening ceremony.

 

In 2008  Svetlana V. Maslova was the Head of the Working Group for the Assessment of the Legal Part of Bids for the Right to Sign the PPP Agreement on the Construction and Operation of Pulkovo Airport. In 2009 she was the Member of the Working Group on the Conclusion of the Agreement on Construction, Modernization and Operation of Pulkovo Airport using Public-Private Partnership Mechanism.
