Head of the Department of Information Technologies in Management of GSOM SPbSU, Head of the project "Innovations in Company Knowledge Management: Typology, Methodology and Recommendations (INNOVARRA)", Tatiana A. Gavrilova welcomed young researchers.

The first day of the school included a series of lectures and practical seminars led by leading foreign lecturers in the field of knowledge management. The presentation of Professor Elias Carayannis (George Washington University, USA) was devoted to business model innovations. Professor James Guthrie (Macquarie University, Australia) presented the paper on the past, present and future research in the field of intellectual capital. Professor Giovanni Schiuma (University of Basilicata, Italy) talked about the role of arts in the field of knowledge management. The day ended with a panel discussion with the participation of Russian business practitioners.

On the second day Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technologies in Management of GSOM SPbSU Dmitry Kudryavtsev presented the report devoted to knowledge management tools.

George Tovstiga, professor at the EDHEC Business School (France), discussed the strategic relevance of knowledge management for the creation of competitive advantages in organizations. The speech of Maria A. Molodchik, Associate Professor of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (Perm), was devoted to the use of quantitative research methods in the domain of knowledge management.

The scientific school ended with a special session, in which participants presented scientific projects in the field of knowledge management and received feedback from leading foreign and Russian lecturers.
