Buddy Program* “Aw'GSOM Buddy team”

 

Each semester dozens of international students come to GSOM SPbU from foreign partner universities to study Management.

 

International office together with volunteering students holds a number of introductory activities in order to help foreign students to adapt to an alien environment faster, make new friends and feel at ease from the moment of arrival to the airport / railway station and moving into the dorms, as well as throughout the whole period of stay in SPb.

 

 

Familiarization week

 

A week prior to the start of the semester foreign students participate in Introduction Week organized to familiarize them with Russian culture and language by participating in Russian language crash course, tours around the city and its suburbian areas and meetings with SPbU students in an informal setting, as well as with Russian business environment by meeting University corporate partners’ representatives at guest lectures and visiting Russian and international companies.
