Presentation of national report “Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Russia 2016/2017” will be held at GSOM SPbU on June 22, 2017 at 4 p.m.
“Global Entrepreneurship Monitor” (GEM)*** is currently the world's largest research in entrepreneurial activity. In 2016 the survey involved more than 197,000 people in 65 countries. 75% of the population live and more than 90% of the world GDP is obtained in the participating countries. Since 2006 the project has been conducted in Russia by the research team of the Graduate School of Management of the St. Petersburg State University.
During the presentation the head of the project Olga Verkhovskaya and the project team will present the main results of the research wave 2016/2017. In particular, the presentation will focus on issues of regional development, education, innovation policy, financing of small and medium-sized businesses and reducing administrative barriers to entrepreneurship.
*** Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is an annual assessment of the national level and the scale of entrepreneurial activity. GEM is the association of universities, business schools and research centers for collection and sharing of information on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship activity. Nowadays almost all countries in Europe, America and Asia are involved into GEM. The project was launched by London Business School (UK) and Babson College (USA) – world-known organizations in the sphere of entrepreneurship research. |
