On November 27, GSOM SPbU will take part in an international action Giving Tuesday. Students, staff, graduates and faculty members will have an opportunity to participate in charity events and join the ideas of volunteering.

GSOM SPbU will become a platform for holding several actions, including the charity clothes collection in the “Spasibo!” container (November 14-30) and the New Year's collection of gifts in favor of orphans and elderly people from nursing homes (November 26 – December 21).

In addition, anyone can make donations to the endowment fund of St. Petersburg State University and for projects implemented at the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University.

Giving Tuesday is the International Charity Day, that is held annually during the last week of November. Its goal is to unite NGOs, business, government and citizens to popularize charity.

The initiative was launched in 2012 and became widespread in 71 countries of the world. In 2016, Generous Tuesday was held for the first time in Russia.
