On December 24, 2020, Svetlana Bova, Chief Data Officer of VTB Bank, will deliver a lecture Data Governance: May the Data Be with You.

Svetlana Bova, Managing Director-Vice President of VTB Bank (PJSC). She has been Head of Data Governance and a Chief Data Officer of VTB Bank direction since 2018, during this time projects have been implemented by the introduction of a data management system, deployed a unified business glossary of terms, a data quality control and monitoring module and a single data catalog of the bank's corporate data warehouses have been deployed. She has more than 15 years of experience in the largest Russian and international banks.

 

She has unique expertise in Russia in the implementation of an end-to-end data management process, including the creation of a single unified data dictionary, corporate data model and data flows, automation of procedures for identifying data quality errors and processes for their elimination.

 

Svetlana Bova managed strategic reporting automation projects using both relational corporate data warehouses and BigData technologies (development of ideas, budgeting, planning and control of work, risk and resource management, control and coordination of contractors ' work, commissioning). She managed creation of reporting systems (management, IFRS, regulatory for the Central Bank of the Russian Federation) in financial groups and major banks (PJSC Rosbank, JSC Rosselkhozbank, NOMOS-Bank, MDM-bank, ING Group, etc.). Svetlana has deep knowledge of the processes and methodology of management reporting and reporting under IFRS standards, and she certified by ACCA.
