Description of the research seminar:
Researchers from the Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management Department and Marketing Department, GSOM SPbU will present their study on the topic: " Employer branding in companies within COVID-19 pandemic times: goals, tools, results". It will consist of 2 presentations:
- Employer branding practices in Russian subsidiaries of multinational companies within COVID-19 pandemic times: exploratory study
- Employer branding in knowledge-intensive firms within COVID-19 pandemic times:
In the first presentation the results of experts survey among HRM and marketing managers are considered. The most popular employer branding practices used in in Russian subsidiaries of multinational companies within COVID-19 pandemic times are discussed.
In the second presentation the results of questionnaire survey conducted in 153 knowledge intensive companies from consulting and IT sectors are considered. In particular, the recruitment goals and obstacles within 2020 year, employer branding tasks and specific employer brand promotions initiatives are discussed.
Employer branding covers the fields of HRM, marketing, branding and applied social psychology. It also becomes a new business process in companies and the highly demanded service in professional consulting.
