Dissertation research was conducted in National Research University “Higher School of Economics” under scientific supervision of Olga I. Zelenova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of Hyman Resource Department. The opponents on the dissertation are Elena G. Kalabina, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Professor of Enterprises’ Economy Department, Ural State University of Economics, and Antonina Yu. Lisovskaya, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of Human Resource Department, Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics. Leading organization on the dissertation is Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

 

The goal of the study is to assess the influence of HRM system on performance of banks operating on Russian market and develop practical recommendations on HRM system improvement in banks.

 

To achieve the goal several tasks were implemented:

• on the basis of theoretical analysis to systematize major approaches and indicators allowing to assess HRM system performance and its influence on overall performance of organization;

• to emphasize the most important functions of banks’ HRM system on Russian market in terms of their influence on banks’ performance;

• to develop a technique for assessment of HRM system influence on banks’ performance on Russian market;
• to assess HRM system performance indicators in banks and structure assessment results for different types of banks;

• to assess HRM system influence on performance of banks operating on Russian market and develop practical recommendation on banks’ HRM system improvement.
