The TalentUp! mentorship program is a unique project that unites GSOM SPbU alumni of different years and students, helping them to acquire new skills and knowledge, find useful contacts and achieve the stated goals.
Interaction between students and alumni of the Business School promotes:
We carefully select a pair for each participant from GSOM SPbU students and alumni so that both mentee and mentor have a comfortable collaboration.
If you are a GSOM SPbU student or an alumnus/alumna and seek support to make your career path clear, or a successful professional and would like to share your knowledge and help young enthusiasts, the program suits you.
Together we are strong
Collaboration of GSOM SPbU students and alumni helps the participants to achieve their career goals, develop personally and professionally, find like-minded people, colleagues, friends and business partners.
Continuous development
Knowledge and experience exchange, continuous collaboration and performance monitoring motivates both students and alumni to never remain satisfied with what has been achieved and strive for their dreams.
Teamwork and performance
Combined efforts of mentor and mentee, networking with other participants and constant support on any initiatives help to achieve high performance. Students and alumni become a close-knit team and continue to communicate even after the program has been finished.
Respect and trust
We pay special attention to trust and respect in the relationships between mentors and students, as these are critical for efficient and comfortable cooperation. At private events our speakers create a safe environment where the participants can express themselves freely.

TalentUp! is an opportunity to touch the future, make it better, and not only for yourself and the student, but for the whole society, too. The Business School's strength is in networking. Thanks to the program, I became part of the GSOM family, where I can always find support and help. I am happy to be its active member.
Anna Pushkova, MIM-2018/M/CEMS,
Mentor
Entrepreneur
I am glad to take part in raising a new generation of leaders - those who will contribute significantly to the prosperity of our society and the whole world! TalentUp! has created the environment for everyone to find their growth points and believe in themselves.
Grigorii Liubachev, MIM-2017/M,
Mentor
Pachka CRM co-founder
TalentUp! has a great value because thanks to the meetings, a mentee spends less time searching for answers, a mentor gets a fresh view and both of them become energized and motivated. This is exactly what happened in my case. We started with a general understanding of a designer's role in a team and then dove into practice. It was great!
Igor Buryak, MCF-13
Mentor
Credit Risk Manager, Gazprom Neft
Participation in the program is, above all, a chance to help the students decide on their future career and avoid the mistakes I've done in the past, as well as boost job interview skills. TalentUp! helps me improve my skills, too.
Elena Sokolova, Master's student,
Mentee
I recommend participating if you have a goal and clear understanding of the kind of mentor you need. People are open and ready to help, but the main demand is from a student.
The program helped her to found Your Mother's Student project.
Kirill Pertsev, Bachelor's student,
Mentee
It is a very useful experience for a student. Where else can you speak to a more experienced colleague and get firsthand advice?
The program helped him to get an internship in business analytics at Netology.
Vasiliy Taran, Master's student,
Mentee
I recommend the program to those who have a certain demand: if you have a goal, a mentor can help you build a path from A to B. Apart from that, the program will broaden your mind and you will meet an interesting person.
The program helped him to start his career at Boston Consulting Group
Anastasia Golubkova, Master's student,
