UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School (Ireland)

The School of Business at UCD has a long and distinguished history since it was established in 1908. In 1964 it became one of the first schools in Europe to offer the MBA. 

At present UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is Ireland’s leading business school and research Centre,  with over  1200 graduates  every year.

 

UCD Business School  offers  an extensive range of specialist and general Business Masters for both business and non-business graduates. Subject areas include Accounting, Banking and Finance, Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Technology and MIS (Management Information Systems).

 

Faculty

UCD School of Business 100-strong faculty comprises leading teaching specialists across 12 subject areas, including accountancy, banking and finance, business administration, computer science, economics, environmental studies, industrial relations and human resources, management information systems, marketing, mathematics, statistics and the Business Research Programme. Many faculty  members also consultant for international corporations and institutions.

UCD  is the only business school in Ireland and one of a small group of schools worldwide to hold the ‘triple crown’ of accreditation from the three centres of business and academic excellence, AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. It’s MBA programmes are consistently ranked in the world’s top 100 and Europe’s top 50 by the Financial Times and the Economist Intelligence Unit.

UCD Smurfit School is the only School in Ireland to offer the prestigious CEMS Master in International Management programme which was ranked as the no.1 Master in Management programme in the world in 2009 and No. 2 in 2010 and 2011.
