From the first days of studying at the Graduate School of Management, I realized how seriously was built a learning process. Firstly, it is supported not only by the fact that the courses offer up-to-date, systematic knowledge, but also by how demanding the faculty to their students. Secondly, the programs offer a balanced approach between theory and practice, which allow to prepare for future employment and have a competitive advantage among young professionals. Thirdly, the faculty supports students in key issues such as international exchanges and internships in companies.

The history of my employment started after the spring semester in the 3rd year, when I needed to find a place for a summer internship. One day I saw an email from Career Center about internships, among which was an invitation to qualify for a summer internship at the St. Petersburg airport. The knowledge and experience gained from the different GSOM courses and participation in various projects, let me qualify and start a summer internship there.After successful completion of that practice, I was offered a topic for my future degree work on the basis of business processes of "Northern Capital Gateway ". I was very glad that I could write my degree work based on the needs of large company. Through meetings with staff of "Northern Capital Gateway " and the received materials I freely guided into the specifics of the airport. A few weeks after graduation I got a call from the Department of recruitment "Northern Capital Gateway " with a proposal to become an applicant for the position - analyst in the “Development of business processes and planning” department.

So I was able to start working in the industry which is appealing to me and close to my specialty. Now I understand that the foundation I got in GSOM allows me effectively meet the challenges and overcome them.
