The track is the place for discussing the applying modern Research Methodologies and Methods to such issues of New Public Management as Efficiency and Effectiveness in the Public Sector, Public Procurement and Public-Private Partnership, Sustainable Urban Development, Health Care Management and Management in Education, and some others ones according submitted papers.

 

Session 1: Strengthening the Efficiency of two faces of Public Procurement: Traditional Procurement and Public-Private Partnership

This session will be subdivided into three or four academic sessions discussing the application of developed countries’ experience in the area of Traditional Procurement and Public-Private Partnership in the developing countries’ institutional environment and round table / debate on the most relevant issues of public-private partnership in international and Russian practice with participation of academic, government and business representatives.

 

Session 2: Management in Social Sector: Developing the Theory and Sharing the Practice

This session will be subdivided into three or four academic sessions discussing the theory and practice issues of healthcare management and management in education, and two round tables on the most relevant issues of public-private partnership and development and implementation of innovations in healthcare organizations with participation of academic, government and business representatives.

 

Session 3: Contemporary issues in urban development

This session aims to bring together academic scholars and practitioners with interest to different issues in urban development. Urban development includes different aspects of urban economics and urban planning, such as land use, social landscape analysis, transportation policy, housing, infrastructure and public policy. We invite papers which consider different theoretical and practical aspect of urban development.

 

Papers on any of the following (but non-exhaustive) themes are welcomed:

• Transportation policy in urban agglomerations.

• Sustainable urban development.
• Smart cities.
• Network industries and public utilities.
• Land use and spatial development.
• Other topics relevant to the urban development track.

 

Session 4: On Improving Effectiveness and Increasing Efficiency in the Public Sector
