On 19 and 20 February, 2016 the Mock Interview event and test session by The Boston Consulting Group were held at Graduate School of Management SPBU.

 

On 19 February BCG team held the Mock Interview event, which was totally devoted to the test and interview preparation.  Students got a unique chance to:

 

• Learn from GSOM graduates how a day of a consultant looks like
• Participate in mock-interview and get a chance to meet one of our experienced interviewers
• Get all the questions answered on how to succeed in our recruiting process

 

The event started from a short presentation, delivered by Principal of BCG Moscow office and GSOM SPBU graduate Anton Kosach (graduated in 2005, study concentration – “Information technologies and innovation management”), Anastasia Denisova, Consultant, Svetlana Kolokolova, Junior Consultant and also GSOM SPBU graduate (graduate of 2015, study concentration – “Master in International Business) and HR department representatives Irina Kozlukova and Ekaterina Kabachnikova.

 

After the presentation part, students worked in groups over the case study offered by BCG team. After the group work, students delivered the case solutions to the BCG team in a form of a short presentation and received priceless advices and tips on how to work over a business case.

 

The event was attended by 130 students of GSOM and other SPBU faculties, as well as students of other Saint-Petersburg Universities.

 

BCG Test session

 

On 20 February, 2016, starting from 10 a.m. the test sessions by BCG representatives was organized.

 

Around 150 students participated in the test. 1st- and 2nd-year master students and final-year bachelor students were eligible for taking the test. Subsequent recruiting stages will be organized in Saint-Petersburg.
