On March 1^st, 2012 the sixth national report “Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Russia 2011” presentation was held in Moscow at HSE, National Research University.

 

Speakers:

• Victor Rozhkov, Director, Head of Commercial Banking, Citi, Russia

for the first time told about the results of the Russian report, shared the research findings on the perception of the business opportunities by entrepreneurs and the perception the factors that hinder the Entrepreneurship Development in Russia; about the qualitative characteristics of Russian entrepreneurial firms; the reasons to be out of the business, etc.

The national report is created under the "Global Entrepreneurship Monitor» (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM), which is currently the world's largest study of entrepreneurial activity.

The task of the National Report is to present the study results 2011 for the Russian entrepreneurs, experts in the field of business and other stakeholders and to characterize the state of entrepreneurship in Russia and its potential.
