Master Day, the celebration of the Master’s  program opening  took place on the 1^st of September, 2016

 

New students were welcomed by Natalia S. Filatova, director of Master in Management Programs and Associate professor Konstantin V. Krotov, Head of GSOM SPBU.

 

The event program included speeches of guest lecturers – leading experts in the field of business:   Kirill G. Korniliev, Vice-President for Sales IBM Corporation, member of GSOM Advisory Board, Chairman of the Committee for Academic Development. Topic «IT today. From automating the world to understanding the world». Stefan Van Doorslaer, General Director Ahlers CIS & The Baltic States, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA). Topic «Innovative leadership». Anatoli A. Karlovsky, Managing Partner of PwC office in St Petersburg, Head of Financial and Audit Committee. Topic «CEO survey».

This year 158 students were enrolled to Master’s program, including 24 foreign students from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Ghana and Zambia, India, China, Thailand, the USA, Poland, Germany, France, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands and Norway.

All students were given souvenirs and gifts.

 

   

GSOM Master's program focuses on training specialists on the international level in the field of management and business, and it is the only Master’s program in Russia, which is listed in international rankings of Financial Times (FT Master in Management and FT European business school).

 

Students have the opportunity to get a Master's degree in Management, Corporate Finance and Public Management.
