On April 19, 2017, a new group of Executive MBA began to study at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University.
The Executive MBA program is implemented in a modular format – once a month for 4 days from Wednesday to Saturday. The program began with the course "Economics for Managers", which is conducted by Associate Professor of St. Petersburg State University Vassily K. Dermanov: «On the course, we will talk about the processes that occur in the economy, affecting the stability (volatility) of economic processes, and about how to "measure" the economy. The goal of the course is to introduce the students to the methods of economic analysis, which are necessary both for understanding economic processes and for making decisions. This course examines the economic processes and principles that underpin the management of organizations».
In 2016, GSOM SPbU took 64th place out of 90 possible in the "European Business Schools 2016" ranking of the Financial Times. For the first time in the European Financial Times ranking GSOM SPbU entered in 2013 and remains the only Russian business school in the list of the best representatives of business education in Europe.
The Financial Times ranking of "Best European Business Schools" is one of the main indicators of the quality of business schools and serves as a guide for choosing the place of study for the vast majority of students of the master's program, MBA and corporate programs. Entering GSOM SPbU in this ranking is an important indicator of international recognition of the quality of SPbU educational programs in the field of management. |

Group 2019A
Top-managers - 30%, deputy heads - 40%, heads of departments - 30%. The program trains representatives of Russian and international companies of various industries: construction, manufacturing, financial services, oil production, mining and pulp and paper industry, retail, services. Graduates of the first higher education in the field of economic, technical and engineering professions traditionally predominate among the students of the group. The group consists of students from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk, the Republic of Kazakhstan. The average age of students in the group is 35, the average seniority is 8 years, the average length of service is 15 years. |
