On December 13th the 10th jubilee “Corporate Philanthropy Leaders” project took stock of its work. The project traditionally included three interdependent branches: an analytical study, an aggregate ranking of participating companies and a competition of particular philanthropic programs (projects).

The Graduate School of Management of SPbU took part in all branches of the project. Y.E. Blagov and A.A. Petrova-Savchenko, working for the PwC Center for CSR, became coauthors of the analytical report “Corporate Philanthropy Leaders – 2017”. Center Director Y.E. Blagov also participated in the expert board for the general ranking competition. Besides, GSOM SPbU presented its own nomination “The best program (project) facilitating education development in Russia”. The nomination winners were praised during rewarding ceremony by A.S. Rogozhina, head of GSOM SPbU Alumnui relations department.
The first places of the general ranking in 2017 were taken by PAO Severstal, Metalloinvest company and OK RUSAL.
The winner of GSOM SPbU nomination is the “Universal design” education project for students of architecture and construction universities led by JTI. The 2nd place was taken by two philanthropic programs — All-Russian project for mathematicians support “Mathematical progression” led by PAO Gazprom Neft and the program “STEM: hard science for scholars and students” led by Excon Neftegaz Limited operating “Sakhalin-1” project. The 3rd place was granted to All-Russian educational program “Lift to the future — talents for science-intensive spheres” led by JFC Sistema. |
