On January 28, Andrei E. Ivanov, head of the “Management in Healthcare” program, took part in the round table “Ways to solve personnel problems in the healthcare sector” at the Federation Council.

The discussion was organized by the Social Policy Committee. Andrei E. Ivanov presented the report “Training managers of healthcare organizations: how to meet international standards”. It summarized the experience of GSOM SPbU in the implementation of Professional Retraining programs for managers working in healthcare sector, and presented proposals for improving managers’ education and health care system in Russia.

Heads of the Social Policy Committee, Ministry of Health representatives, regional ministers of health and heads of medical universities took part in the round table.
