On June 8 at GSOM SPbU CEMS Benchmarking meeting took place. More than 50 guests participated in this event, including CEMS corporate and academic partners, GSOM partners and representatives of CEMS Head Office.
CEMS is a global alliance of academic and corporate institutions dedicated to educating future generations of international business leaders. CEMS Benchmarking meeting is organized every year by one of the alliance academic partners.
This year GSOM SPbU hosted the Benchmarking meeting. The main theme of the event was “Talent acquisition on emerging markets: global expertise and local challenges”. This topic was discussed by GSOM professors and representatives of Universum, Hilti, Henkel, L’Oreal, Bain&Co, VTB Bank, KONE, Hyundai, EY, BIOCAD, Antal, Citibank, PepsiCo, Colliers International.
Participants and speakers were satisfied with the results of the event. In their opinion, the meeting helps to develop CEMS community at the local level. This is what Nicole de Fontaines, Secretary General at CEMS, wrote in a letter to GSOM SPbU after CEMS Benchmarking meeting: “Congratulations and thank you again for the very successful Benchmarking meeting that you have organized at GSOM. Participants were clearly very pleased and impressed by what they learnt about CEMS and by the commitment of all CEMS alliance members. I am confident that this event will help you enlarge the pool of current CP's working with you and hopefully help you recruit CEMS CP's”.
