From December 16 to December 20, 2019, Konstantin V. Krotov, Head of School, GSOM SPbU, and Yulia N. Aray, Academic Director of international programs of additional professional education, visited Beijing, China with business scopes.

During the trip, several important meetings aimed at developing and strengthening the relations of GSOM SPbU with universities in China were held. On December 17, 2019 Konstantin Krotov and Yulia Aray met with the Russian Ambassador to China Andrei I. Denisov and discussed the prospects of developing GSOM SPbU partnerships with leading business schools in China. The meeting was also attended by Igor A. Pozdnyakov, the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in China, and Representative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in China. He spoke about the current state of Russian-Chinese relations in the field of Education.
Konstantin Krotov and Yulia Aray also held negotiations with the leadership of the University of International Economics and Business (UIBE) in Beijing, the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, the School of Finance at Tsinghua University, and the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.
At Tsinghua University in Beijing, the meeting was also attended by Liu Wei, Secretary General of the Russian Research Institute, and Igor A. Pozdnyakov, the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in China, and Representative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in China.
The School currently has 6 academic partners in the People's Republic of China: the School of Business, Renmin University of China, the CUHK Business School, Chinese University of Hong, School of Managment, Tsinghua University, Antai College of Economics and Managment (ACEM), Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and City University of Hong Kong. All of them are accredited by AACSB, and some additionally accredited by EQUIS and AMBA as well. Cooperation in the area of academic mobility is carried out as part of both Bachelor and Master programs.
