“As part of the GSOM SPbU Golf Cup, a match was held between the GSOM SPbU and SFU teams. This is the first such tournament at this level that has been held in Russia, and we named it the University Cup. The format of the game was 18-hole singles with a summary of the total points scored. We lost to the SFU with a score of 1.5 to 2.5 points — two of our participants lost their matches, one won, and the last matchs ended in a draw. But it’s worth noting that we started playing golf only this year, and the members of the Siberian Federal University are active athletes and prize-winners of the Russian Championship among students”.
