The introduction week for GSOM SPbU exchange students has been launched
On January 31 the introduction week for students arriving at GSOM SPbU for exchange was started. In the Spring semester, 81 students from 26 countries of the world (35 universities) will be studying at the School. One fifth of all arrivals are from France, slightly less are from Germany. This year for the first time a student came to GSOM from South Carolina under the recently signed agreement.
At the organizational event, students got acquainted with the School, met the representatives of the career center, relevant administrative offices, as well as professors of the Russian language courses and their new fellow GSOM students.
On February 1, an evening devoted to Russian culture prepared by students of the Buddy team was held on the GSOM city campus. This was the first event where students could get acquainted with Russia and St. Petersburg. Later Buddies together with exchange students will visit the Hermitage, the Museum of the Petrovskaya Akvatoria, the ice-skating rink in New Holland and go together for a picnic in the countryside.
From February 3 to 7, students will study in an introductory Russian language course, go on an introductory tour of the library, and register for their electives
