On February 28, presentation of the Doctoral program "Economics and Management" took place at GSOM SPbU. The program was presented by Galina V. Shirokova, Academic Director and GSOM SPbU professor.

The Doctoral program "Economics and Management" is intended for those who are planning an academic career in business and management. This is the first Doctoral program in management in Russia, developed taking into account international standards.

The сourses are taught in English in a cross-cultural environment, which helps to increase the competitiveness of alumni in the international labor market. In addition, the School provides financial support for the participation of Doctoral students in leading international conferences, seminars or colloquiums, summer and winter schools.

Students of the program have the opportunity to study at the expense of the federal budget and receive a monthly scholarship. From the 3rd year of study, Doctoral students have the opportunity to work as an assistant professor and receive a salary.

GSOM SPbU professors have extensive experience in international research projects in the field of management. School collaborates with research centers around the world, provides Doctoral students with access to databases and a unique literature library of GSOM SPbU.
