On April 10, the VTB Bank announced the names of 50 finalists of the nominal grants competition. They will receive 100,000 rubles for their professional development. Polina Gradyskaya, Master student of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM), id among the finalists of the nominal grant competition from VT Bank.
In the two months of the selection process, more than 9,000 Master and Bachelor students from 350 Russian universities took part in the competition. Among the participants there were 418 students of St. Petersburg University, including 67 from GSOM. The winners of the selection process were those participants who demonstrated a combination of a creative approach and strong analytical skills in their work.
These VTB grants are given to support the professional development of students. The grant can be spent on useful activities or tools that will help them to succeed: specialized courses or training, participation in conferences or seminars, purchase of a subscription to professional literature, books or access to necessary databases. A grant may help some participants to start their own business, organize an important social project or prepare a research article for publishing.
