From April 13 to 18, 2020, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University hosted the first week-long educational module of the "Healthcare Management" professional retraining program, implemented as part of the Presidential Program of Management Training of the Russian Federation (Presidential Program).
The program is attended by the Heads of healthcare organizations from eight regions of the Russian Federation — St. Petersburg, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Moscow and Tyumen regions, the Republic of Karelia and the Trans-Baikal Territory. This is a record number of regions represented in the study group of the program for its entire existence.
The first module of the program was held in an online format. In order to engage students more in the learning process, the content of the module was adapted to a new format: there were fewer general educational disciplines, and more special ones. Special classes were held by the A.S. Povzun, Chief Physician of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Emergency Medicine. I.I. Dzhanelidze, M.Yu. Bakhtin, Assistant Director for Medical Information Technologies A.M. Nikiforova EMERCOM of Russia, and A.V. Solonin, Director General of the Association of Private Clinics of St. Petersburg. A number of interactive trainings has been replaced by work on project topics and the formation of project teams.
The next module of the program will be held from May 25 to May 30, 2020.
