At the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM), a 20-hour course "Management by Personality Type", organized by the Coaching Center, has completed. Students of Master programs found out with the concept of personality types, and also honed skills to improve interpersonal interaction in team communication.
The lecturer of the online course was Alina Stepanchuk, an alumna of GSOM, psychologist and coach. “Understanding what really drives a person is not only one of the most important competencies of any leader, but also an absolutely necessary skill in the life of every person. Creating a comfortable and productive atmosphere in the team is an important factor in the work,” said Alina Stepanchuk.
The course was held with high involvement of participants, group discussions and practical exercises. Students noted the high level of presentation and the quality of structured material.
“Many thanks to GSOM for the opportunity to get to know psychology better. The course made it clear that understanding yourself and the people around you is especially important for personal effectiveness and developing leadership potential. The task of the manager and the true leader is to allow each member of the team to develop in a comfortable atmosphere, which becomes possible only thanks to the individual approach to each of the employees. The content of the course allows us to get exactly those skills that will help to properly build work with all team members,” says second-year Master student Angelina Ledovskaya.
