The Forbes Education project has issued an interview with Olga K. Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Director of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU).
Olga Dergunova discussed how business education should develop in order to meet the needs of the market, what trends are characteristic for managerial education and what goals are being set for GSOM for the next five years.
“Our strategic goal is to enter the Financial Times top 30 ranking of European business schools, increase the total number of alumni in all programs to 30 thousand people annually and to be seen as the leading business school by key employers. GSOM SPbU in 2025 will be a business school with a global vision and management competencies adapted to Russian realities, in which leaders at any stage of their managerial careers will be able to get everything they need for development in a unique educational environment. For this, GSOM will constantly strengthen the staff of the faculty and improve the operational model of school management,” said Olga K. Dergunova.
Among other guests of the Forbes Education Project there are the rectors of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University), Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and the Ural Federal University, the New Economic School (NES) and other large educational institutions.
