The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) is holding a joint seminar with the international association ACCA "Benefits of ACCA accreditation for universities." The event will take place on October 21 at 14:00 on the ZOOM online platform.

 

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA). The qualification is achieved after passing 13 professional exams, three years of relevant work experience and passing the ethics module. The professional ACCA community consists of more than 200 thousand people who are ready to provide support in the educational process and building a career in finance, and gives access to the ACCA Career resource with 30 thousand relevant vacancies.

 

Alumni of the ACCA-accredited program will be able to earn a full ACCA qualification in one year instead of the usual three to four years by passing part of their professional exams during their education in the Master program. In addition, they have the possibility of a simplified access to a bachelor's degree from Oxford Brookes University, and upon successful passing of the four final exams of the Association, a master's degree from the University of London.

 

All the advantages of membership in the Association are included in the updated GSOM SPbU program Master of Corporate Finance, which would be relevant for Bachelors with financial, economic, mathematical and technical backgrounds who want to build a successful career in finance. Alumni of the program will have the possibility of becoming CFOs and Investment Directors anywhere in the world.
